I’m a little behind on this, but only by two days which means I can easily catch up this week. Anyway, this weeks photo comes from the Western Stock Show! What a fun time we had with our friends! It was truly an enlightening cultural experience….. Our favorite event (which i did not get a good photo of) was the dog pulling contest. This is where dogs large and small see how much weight they can pull. Honestly, I never thought anything would be so exciting.
Without further ado- this weeks Photo of the Week (and a few more of the Western Stock Show for good measure)
Good measure:
I’m pretty excited to be participating in a photography project called “Project 52.” Jodi Friedman of MCP Actions is encouraging photographers to learn and grow by taking one intentional photograph every week. She’s suggesting themes for each week and while I may not use them, I’m still excited to take a photograph every week. I love photography, but it’s like the contractor whose house never gets finished… I end up capturing everyone elses moments and don’t capture my own. Hopefully, this will serve as a bit of a digital diary for me and at the end of the year, I’ll be able to remember what I did in 2011!
If you want to join in the project- it’s not too late! Start now! Here’s more info: http://www.mcpactions.com/blog/2011/01/05/mcp-project-52-one-photo-a-week-join-in-anytime/
